As socialism and its bureaucracies continues to pervade our country and our freedoms, the Oregon Patriot Party intends to correct and regain those freedoms we have all but lost.

By educating those who have not read or have forgotten the true meanings of freedom, we intend to offer alternative laws to invasive practices of local, state, and federal governments. See Declaration of Independence on CDF Site.

1.) We intend to reduce the size of federal government by passing laws that will freeze the further hiring of federal employees and place more federal jobs into the private sector.

2.) We intend to transfer all federal lands within the states, to the states. Respecting however all national forest agreements up to 1975.

3.) We intend to abolish present zoning laws and replace them with practical simple laws that promote freedom, including a five mile limit to outside intervention and meddling, further a preference to those most affected.

4.) We intend to restructure all tax laws to a no names, no numbers tax system. See Patriot Tax.

Further, to totally dismantle the IRS and the invasiveness it presents into the private lives of U.S. citizens, limit taxing powers of the federal government and provide a absolute monitoring and reporting graph system; making it easy for the common man to know absolutely where his tax dollars are spent and in what amounts.

The no names no numbers tax system will take the fear from the free citizen of its own government and allow even the poorest of its citizenry to have the hope of buying building and keeping a piece of property and a home without owing anyone. True freedom.

5.) Provide free trade, first within the United States. Then worry about free trade outside.

6.) To educate the public as to the need to reduce the federal government and expand freedom where at this time free enterprise is being choked by zoning, regulation and invasive taxation caused by ever growing government bureaucracies who are not limited and whose pervasive restrictions force free enterprise into the open arms of that very same ever growing unlimited government.

7.) We intend to create localized control of the states in areas of land, business, taxation, military (see CDT), monopoly laws, and to provide opportunity and absolute ownership protection of land, home, and business to the common citizen.

8.) In general, laws based on true freedom as defined in the Declaration of Independence will be permitted in this country, permits and licenses will not be allowed.

*** Permits and licenses are tools used to expand the powers of government beyond serving citizens into the role of controlling citizens and therefore will not be permitted in a free country.

Example: After you have received a license for driving a car the only avenue the government will have to prosecute for breaking the traffic law will be fining, confiscation or arrest on the spot for repeat offenders. This is a deterrent and allows freedom to work without invasive laws to keep track of the citizenry.
